Gluten Free Beers

Opening blog, with a 2001 style! Hope you like it. I'm coming back to beer with gluten free options. They don't seem common in restaurants, but there's definitely some to be found, and Whole Foods has a few. I'm on a mission to try them all and update it here. I've giving them a rating of 1-10 but compared to normal beer (not compared to gluten free beer).

Lastly I like to say my 1-10 scale is not really 1-10. Think of it as a grade where 5.0 = kind bad maybe the worst. Its possible to go lower, but generally I would just not say anything if it was sub 5. Also there's really no 10.  A 9.8 is practically a perfect score for me, so a 5.2 - 9.8 scale is more accurate.

Daura Damm
, Lager - 7.8 sharp after taste but can't tell it's gluten free. Really good beer. Gets better the more you drink it. $11.50/6 12oz

Glutenberg Blonde - 7.2 good, but almost tastes like a corn cider. Its got that hint of cider. Recommended light beer with a bitter aftertaste. $12.50/4 16oz

Green's Gluten Free India Pale Ale - 5.8 On first sip I was excited to have a IPA again, Great initial flavor, but there's a very strong bitter aftertaste, thats not unusual for  IPAs, but this bitterness stays on the tongue and detracts from the overall enjoyment. Currently the best Gluten Free IPA (Hey there's only 3 beers here!). $15/4 12oz
